EmpowerHer Tomorrow Initiative’s Resilient Homes project supports widows in Tanzania’s Hanang District who lost everything in the deadly December 2023 landslide and flooding. We are reconstructing 7 climate-resilient homes using flood-resistant designs—raised foundations, reinforced walls, and sustainable materials—to ensure long-term safety for women-led households.
