EmpowerHer Tomorrow Initiative’s Climate-Land Defenders project empowers 2,100 youth and women in Malinyi District to secure land tenure and reduce conflicts threatening their livelihoods and environment. By training 210 Community Land Defenders, we promote legal land rights, create 12 village land use maps, and foster community-led climate resilience.

Our Approach

We address land insecurity through intensive training on land law, mapping, and advocacy for 210 Community Land Defenders (at least 60% youth, 50% women). These leaders then train 1,890 peers via 40+ awareness sessions and support communities in securing 110 land titles. Our transparent, inclusive approach reduces land conflicts by 70%, strengthens tenure security, and protects local ecosystems.

Join the movement to secure land rights and build resilient communities.
